You’re In For a Treat
Is it me, or does September fly by? We go from bathing suits around Labor Day to sweaters as fall creeps in. Here at DBHQ (currently in Boise, Idaho), September has been HUGE! We added dozens and dozens of new members to the DB family through our Strength Made Simple program, as well as our women’s only group nutrition coaching program. I’m a Sucker for a TOP 10 List

When I Actually Saw Changes
’ve been active most of my adult life. After high school sports, I had only a slight hiatus before jumping into CrossFit and doing that alone for about a decade.

Today we are going to celebrate the achievement of making it 6 months on the road and talk openly about the struggles we’ve faced running a business, living, and taking care of our heath and fitness while on the road.
Read This Before You Eat More Protein
Be honest with me. How many of these have you thought about this year?
“I probably just need to eat more protein… that’s what’s missing.”
“If I buckle down and drop this weight fast, I’ll finally look more toned.”
“Whoa!… my watch says I burned 800 calories in that workout. I’m killing it!”
If your head is nodding right now, you’re in good company.

From a 48” Waist to Fit - Jason’s Story
Four years ago, Jason was at a crossroads.
At 30 pounds heavier than he is now, his waist measured 48 inches.
His doctor was ready to start him on blood pressure medication.
It wasn’t just the health numbers that bothered him; it was the way they made him feel.

Is Diet Soda Bad For You?
Short answer: No, in moderation.
Long answer: Still no—and here’s why.
