This 14 Day Hormone Reset Works Every Time

“If you drink coffee first thing in the morning, you’ll spike your cortisol, which causes cortisol belly and makes fat loss impossible.”

The irony of me writing this at 6:22 AM as I drink coffee is thick, but I digress.

“Insulin causes you to store fat, so whatever you do, avoid making yours go up.”

I’ve seen both of these incorrect statements being peddled by Instagram influencers this past week.

What a coincidence that both of them had a “solution” to sell you in the caption of each video.

Cortisol and Insulin are both legitimate hormones in the body.

And of course, you want them to work as intended, not in a way that sabotages your health and body composition.

I’d tell you to talk to your doc for a thorough explanation, but honestly, sometimes I wonder if the average PCP isn’t falling for the loud but false claims on social too. Again, I digress.

If you’re afraid to drink coffee before 9 AM and you’re avoiding carrots because they spike your blood sugar…

If you’re convinced your hormones are “out of whack” and they're stopping your health goals in their tracks....

Here’s a “14-Day Hormone Reset Challenge™️” you can do for free, starting today.

Follow it exactly, and finally find out if it’s your hormones that are blocking your results, or something else.

Challenge Rule 1: For 14 days, make all of your own food at home. Delete DoorDash, ditch the drive-thrus, skip the Starbucks, and stock up at the store. Zero food prepared by anyone that isn’t you, your spouse, or your momma if you still live at home.

The idea isn’t to load up on frozen pizzas and Annie’s Mac ‘n Cheese. It’s to make most of your meals from less-processed "real" food.

Build the portions for your meals following these guides for men and women.

Challenge Rule 2: For 14 days, do the following math: Take the time you need to wake up and subtract 8 hours. Be in bed by that time without your phone, tablet, or TV every single night.

For the hormone reset, you're aiming for 7+ hours asleep, and 8 hours in bed is a great place to start.

Challenge Rule 3: For 14 days, walk 10,000 steps or more per day. If you sit at a desk for work, that’s going to sound like a lot. You’ll have to be intentional, but you want answers about your hormones, right?

Challenge Rule 4: This one is no joke. For 14 days, limit processed snacks and treats to 100 calories per day.

I’m talking about chips, crackers, cookies, ice cream, peanut butter, pretzels, and all of the other tasty devils that line the aisles of the store.

Since you’re following step 1, you’ll have way fewer cravings for these foods anyway.

Challenge Rule 5: This one is critical, so come back to me if you’re skimming. If at any point during the 14-day reset you “mess up” on one of the rules…

You grab a donut at work in a moment of weakness…

You snag a few fistfuls of tortilla chips before dinner…

You forget about your steps and only hit 5,000…

Resume the challenge immediately with your next choice instead of quitting or waiting until tomorrow to restart.

Pinky promise? Ok, great.

Jonathan
