When I Actually Saw Changes

I’ve been active most of my adult life. After high school sports, I had only a slight hiatus before jumping into CrossFit and doing that alone for about a decade.

I’m a big fan of CrossFit, I even owned a gym for many years…

BUT my physique stayed the same from high school until just a few years ago when I started strength training.

Not “just working out”, not “just exercising”, STRENGTH TRAINING.

The difference lies mostly with the intention.

Working out essentially equates to moving and getting sweaty, both of which are GREAT!

But if you work out regularly, and you want to change your physique, you need to add in some intentional strength training.

What happens when you do this is you challenge your muscles to grow… and they do!

When you strength train with purpose you do exercises that target certain muscle groups like the biceps, triceps, shoulders, quads, glutes, back, and chest, and you do them regularly. You track your results, so that you know what weight you used last time, and you can either add reps or weight the next time you do that exercise.

You work within a few reps of failure without going to failure each workout, so that you aren’t dragging your body down. And you see visible progress.

I’ve learned how to write workouts that make these types of exercises both challenging and fun at the same time.

If you’ve never actually strength trained before, we are dropping a new strength-only program perfect for beginners called “Strength Made Simple” that starts THIS TUESDAY 9/2!

Strength Made Simple will give you the movements you need to be doing, the number of sets & reps that are beneficial for each muscle group per week, and the intention in which you should be moving. You’ll get 3 workouts per week that will be 30 to 40 minutes, and only require dumbbells and some bands.

👉 If you do other activities like running or HIIT classes, this will be the perfect addition for you.

👉 If you do nothing right now but want to start building strength, this will be the perfect addition for you too.

We start this TUESDAY so don’t delay if you want to start building strength. All 8 weeks are just $147.
