How To Enjoy Vacation Without Gaining Weight

A lot of our clients are on spring break this week.

For many of them, a trip or vacation used to trigger the same thought:

“I’ll just start over when we get back.”

You know the drill.

A week of travel… eating out more… routines off… workouts skipped… and suddenly the week feels like a big bloated loss.

So the natural plan becomes:

“Buckle down extra hard when I get home!”

The problem is that the cycle can repeat for years.

Spring break.
Summer travel.
Holidays.
Busy work seasons.

There’s always another “start over Monday” coming when you’ll really get your stuff together.

The cool thing is that once people learn a few simple nutrition habits, their mindset changes.

Now when our clients travel, their approach looks more like this:

Spring Break (or any other vacation) Nutrition Checklist

☐ Eat a protein-focused breakfast instead of starting the day with just coffee and a pastry

☐ Don’t skip meals all day and show up to dinner starving

☐ Look for a protein + produce or fiber combo at most meals

☐ Walk or move your body daily (it helps if you go to Disney 😆)

☐ Keep a couple of easy protein snacks on hand that fit our high-protein snack rule

☐ Enjoy vacation meals without stacking multiple heavy meals in a row (the never miss twice strategy)

☐ Drink plenty of water

☐ When the trip ends… just return to normal eating

No guilt.
No extreme dieting.
No “starting over.”

Talk about freeing!

These are the kinds of small tweaks we help our nutrition clients make so their progress doesn’t disappear every time life gets busy.

The best part is that they don’t have to turn their lives upside down or become a social outcast.

If getting consistent again this spring sounds good to you, we have a few open spots in our Spring Reset program right now.

Starting March 30th, you’ll work 1-on-1 with Coach Haley or me for three months to clean up your nutrition, lose weight before summer, and build the habits and skills to stop the dieting cycle for good.

And no, you won’t have to give up treats or track calories. Whew.

With the Spring Reset deal, your third month of coaching is at no additional cost. 🔥

Spots are going quickly, so don’t hesitate!

Remember: the results you want in June and July come from the work you put in over the next few months.
