Better Results Than Peloton Classes?
Greetings from Utah! We nearly froze Monday night when the temps dipped down into the teens in Provo. Here’s a pic Blakley got before we rolled out to head further south.
In other news… Blakley has developed a rekindled love for Barnes & Noble. We went at least 3 times when we were in Boise.
I admit, the smell of physical books and coffee mixed together is intoxicating.
I grabbed a copy of Ryan Holiday’s latest book, “Wisdom Takes Work” last week.
You might know Ryan’s other books like “The Daily Stoic” and “The Obstacle is The Way”.
They’re both in our recommended book list: CLICK HERE
A quote about gaining wisdom through books stood out to me last night:
“That’s what books allow us to do — to gain cheaply knowledge that someone else gained through pain and suffering”
In other words, by reading books, we can avoid making a bunch of mistakes others had to make in order to accomplish awesome things.
As someone who abhors wasting time, money, and energy… That’s pretty sick!
Who doesn’t love a good shortcut and some savings?
The same shortcut is available for your health and physical fitness, although it probably won’t come from a book.
It comes from investing in a plan from someone who’s already done the legwork in figuring out what actually works.
They’ve already “gone through the pain and suffering,” so you can cheaply gain the knowledge, avoid the mistakes, and get great results.
I think this quote from a recent graduate of our “Strength Made Simple” program sums it up perfectly:
We didn’t invent exercise (duh).
But we can help you avoid the mistakes that make results elusive for most people.
